Gram Bangla Aviation Project

The NGO Affairs Bureau approved FD6 Gram Bangla Aviation Project provides flight support for development and humanitarian activities in Bangladesh, particularly to remote and more isolated areas of the country. Our flights facilitate easier and quicker access for:

  • Medical evacuation and health teams
  • Community development and disaster relief
  • Aerial surveys
  • Air test and administration
  • Other charters

The project also enables MAF to provide aviation technical experience opportunities to Bangladeshi nationals in turbine-engine, light aircraft, and remote area operations.

All our efforts are focused on creating opportunities and changing lives in the area. We are really happy to have MAF as part of our journey. We can’t express how much their support means to us. By saving our valuable time and energy, MAF also has been a valuable part of our process.

Leaving No One Behind Activity - USAID

Provision of flight support to access hard-to-reach areas in Bangladesh for aid agencies, USAID, and USAID partners, to ensure that when goals are achieved they are achieved for everyone.

With the help of MAF, we have been able to reach the unreached with fistula services in the most remote places in Bangladesh. Obstetric fistula is related to remoteness and extreme poverty. Thanks to MAF for helping us serve this cause. A forty-minute flight and forty-minute surgery ends forty years of suffering for a woman with fistula.
